1. Who we are
YarnCheck operates https://yarncheck.com. We provide laboratory yarn testing services, including online booking, doorstep sample pickup, sample tracking, digital reports, and GST invoicing for textile businesses in India.
2. Who this applies to
This policy applies to customers who register, book a test, pay online, request pickup, download a report, or contact support. That includes individuals and organisations such as spinning mills, manufacturers, exporters, garment brands, traders, and quality-control teams.
3. Information we collect
You provide:
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, mobile number, and optional alternate mobile
- Organisation details: registration type, organisation name, and GST registration type
- Addresses: registered or billing address, and the sample pickup address (line, city, state, PIN, India)
- Booking details: selected test, order reference, Sample ID, and pickup notes
- Messages you send to support
We generate or receive:
- Email verification codes used to sign in
- Login session data needed to keep you signed in
- Payment status from Razorpay, including order id, payment id, amount, currency, and success or failure. We do not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, or net-banking passwords
- Order journey status such as placed, paid, pickup, received, testing, and report ready
4. Why we use this information
- Create and verify your account
- Collect payment for the selected testing service
- Arrange sample pickup and identify your consignment
- Perform laboratory testing and deliver the report and invoice
- Show order, payment, and report status in your workspace
- Send transactional email such as verification codes, booking confirmation, and report notices
- Prevent fraud and meet tax, accounting, and legal duties
We do not sell customer data or use it for unrelated advertising.
5. Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Razorpay may collect payment credentials under its own privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy.
YarnCheck receives payment confirmation and identifiers needed to match the booking. Amounts are charged in INR as shown at checkout.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only where needed to fulfil the service:
- Razorpay, to complete payment
- Logistics or pickup partners: name, phone, pickup address, and Sample ID
- Email delivery providers, to send verification codes and service emails
- Professional advisers or authorities if required by law
Test results are confidential. Reports are issued only to the booking customer. We do not share reports with suppliers or list samples on a marketplace unless you ask us to.
7. Cookies and session storage
We use an essential refresh cookie to keep you signed in and session storage for a short-lived access token. These are required for login, checkout, and your workspace. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Retention
Account, order, payment, and report records are kept while the account is active and for as long as needed for GST, accounting, and dispute handling. You may ask us to update or close an account. We may retain records we are required to keep by law.
9. Security
Access to orders and reports requires a verified account. We use HTTPS and restrict staff access to what is needed to fulfil the booking. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Your choices
You may access or update profile and address details in your workspace, request a copy of your booking data, or ask us to close your account. Email support@yarncheck.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
11. Children
The website is for business and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
